Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your SOLO Hero Fitness account and all associated data at any time. This page explains both options and what data is deleted or retained, as required by the Google Play Data deletion policy.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

1. Open SOLO Hero Fitness and sign in.
2. Go to Account → Delete Account.
3. Confirm. Your account and all kid profiles are removed immediately, and backend records are purged within 30 days.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't sign in, email privacy@soloherofitness.com from the address associated with your account with the subject line "Delete my account". We will:

1. Verify the request is from the account owner.
2. Delete the account within 30 days.
3. Reply to confirm when deletion is complete.

How long deletion takes

• Immediately — in-app deletion removes your account and all kid profiles from the live app; you are signed out and can no longer sign in.
• Within 7 days — email requests are verified and actioned.
• Within 30 days — all records are permanently purged from our production database, in every case.
• Within 90 days — residual copies in encrypted backups expire on our normal rotation and become unrecoverable. Backups are never accessed for marketing or analytics.

What data is deleted

• Parent account (email, password hash, session records)
• All kid profiles (nickname, avatar, birth year, favorite color)
• Workout preferences, saved settings, and role assignments
• Support correspondence tied to the account (on request)

What data may be retained

We retain the minimum records required by law or for legitimate business reasons, and only for as long as necessary:

• Billing / tax records — Stripe payment and invoice records are retained for up to 7 years to comply with U.S. tax and anti-fraud law. These records do not include kid profile data.
• Abuse / security logs — anonymized security event logs may be retained up to 12 months.

All retained data is stored securely and is never used for marketing.

Cancel a subscription first (recommended)

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel any active subscription in the App Store or Google Play before deleting the account. Web (Stripe) subscriptions are cancelled automatically as part of deletion.
