Delete a Child's Profile & Data
Last updated: 2026-08-07
A parent can delete any child's profile at any time, without deleting the whole account. Deleting a child's profile also withdraws the parental consent recorded for that child.
Delete in the app
- Sign in as the parent.
- Open Parents and pass the parent PIN gate.
- Go to the Kids tab and choose the child's profile.
- Select Delete profile and confirm.
What is deleted
- The child's nickname, chosen Solo Hero, avatar customisation, birth year, and age band.
- Workout progress, streaks, badges, and saved mission state for that child.
- Mission check-ins (difficulty and "did anything hurt" answers) tied to that child.
- Safety reports tied to that child, unless we are required to keep a record of a reported incident.
- The parental consent record is marked withdrawn with the date.
How long it takes
- Immediately — the profile and its content disappear from the app.
- Within 30 days — records are purged from our live database.
- Within 90 days — copies age out of encrypted backups as they rotate.
What may be kept
We keep parent-level billing records where tax and accounting law requires it, and minimal security logs. These contain no child profile content. Consent and withdrawal records are retained as proof that we obtained and honoured consent.
Delete everything
To remove the parent account and every child profile at once, use Delete Account.
Ask us to do it for you
Email privacy@soloherofitness.com from the parent email on the account, naming the child profile to delete. We verify the request and complete it within 30 days. For anything else, contact support@soloherofitness.com.
